In 1993, the remains of 13 Confederate Sailors were recovered from a site of 14 grave locations. This was at the Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, SC. Extended research from the Confederate Heritage Trust noticed that a large common marker was located in Magnolia Cemetery that once stood at this particular site until 1948 when the new stadium was constructed. This was the first of two recoveries that took place. The second was inside of the stadium walls. Eventually after careful study of the remains, they were all reburied in Magnolia Cememtery.
So nice to see those men finally get the recognition they deserve for their work in forming our nation!

Truly sad in the lack of respect for the gravesites buy the builders who paved over them. The people who laid those pipes almost surely had to see the bones.

Did they find that one was a boy? I have searched for the site where I found the information and somehow lost it. He was about 14 years of age. I could not find the page where I had first seen this.
