wow! cant believe i'd ever see this video again! my son was the baby in it- 18 years ago. Timeless

It is amazing, I think what's happening is that there are loads of synths and guitars going through an echo (obvs) but we don't hear the direct signal, just mostly the echo.
So even though the sounds going into the echo are very different, they get kind of blended into one by the effect.
But basically it's just really nicely played instruments!

That's pretty much it. 3 guitars --> 3 effects units using heavy echo + delay and you've got it. :)

Neither are 'BETTER' than the other....
