  • plz put this in the description. there is a note in tools saying "The adb tool has moved to platform-tools/

If you don't see this directory in your SDK,

launch the SDK and AVD Manager (execute the android tool)

    and install "Android SDK Platform-tools"

Please also update your PATH environment variable to

include the platform-tools/ directory, so you can

    execute adb from any location."

  • Same here. Windows says that it can't find the driver software for ADB, yet I already installed it. :\

  • Nice video about ADB. I was wondering if you going to make a video about using ADB as well. That would be a big help for all the beginners. Again, thanks for making all the nice videos.

  • adb server is out of date... killing

after i typed in adb devices

    what should i do?

  • Java found @ Oracle.com

    download Java for computer !

  • need to install Java for this to work. then go to C:\androidSDK and install SDK Manager.exe (tools).

  • i followed it step by step but when i go into the command prompt and type in adb i get adb is not recognized as a internal or external command, operable program or batch file what do i do? did i do something wrong?

  • thanks dude

  • @capang9555 After following your step, everything worked fine, he should of added this to the video.

  • Excellent work. Followed this step by step and worked perfectly. One note, my version of android SDK manager had a note stating ADB had been moved from "tools" to "platform-tools". All I did was change this in the environmental variables path and adb is now executable from the command prompt properly. Thanks!
