Super Metroid Tips 3 Early Gauntlet

Alot of people use the infiniate bomb jump trick for this, but i perfer the wall jump. This is the wall jump version done twice; once with High Jump and once Without.

You decide which is faster.

Note: you can do this as soon as you get bombs, i just wait until after heading back up towards the abadoned ship

As allways done in full speed without any slow down.

Nice, I enjoy doing this too, but I also wait until I'm on the way to the abandon ship. I can't stand those thing that grab you and pull you into the acid.  But why is this area callled gauntlet? I see the name gaunlet used for a lot of areas by fans but I never knew why.

You have to master wall jump and have bombs to do this ...

@Plasdurock its called gauntlet because it's not the easiest thing to get there.

I used to do this with power bombs and shinespark bypassing the need for screw attack and space jump.

@KaiserVadin oh, dude, i know what he's talking about, i can't remember completely, but i think you have to have less that 50 energy or less with no reserve tanks, and i'm not sure after this.... but you either just lay a power bomb, and hold the button down.... or you switch off all of your beams and lay a powerbomb while holding it.
