Superman Visits Afghanistan

A video of Author Trent Reedy's time in Afghanistan. Trent is the Author of the new book "Words in the Dust" that is based on his experience in Afghanistan. This video was shot at a Provincial Hospital in Afghanistan's Farah Province while the author was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Reedy and his fellow soldiers became frustrated that there was not more they could do to help and so organized toy drives from friends, family members and schools in the United States to help bring a little joy to the lives of local children. The boy in this video was on his way to the hospital and suffered from a condition that had left him crippled.
