  • Thank you, thank you so much for the great idea. After I watched your video, I have just made one dog bed for my dog from old blanket, pillow stuff, and curtain in just about one hour. It turn out amazing and she is sleeping in her bed right now. ^^

  • @TheAlonelife I used fleece to make a blanket years ago and from there made a little dog bed for our Pocahontas. I have seen patterns at Hancock Fabric.

  • really cute! We have a small breed dog rescue. We have dog beds spread around but some boys are rude and pee on them. What we've done with purchased dog beds is to pull out the pillow within, put it in a trash bag to protect it then when it's time to wash the cover, the inside is still clean. I imagine that you could do something similar with this bed. I notice that if the trash bag is bigger than the dog bed, you can still smoosh the stuffing around and the dogs seem to like it just fine.

  • @rivercityrescue thank you so much for your comment, sounds great. I am sure running a dog rescue you go through some beds.

  • I am so glad that so many dogs are getting new handmade dog beds.

  • To make a circle pattern I think you just need to get a bit of string half the width you want it, then pin it in the center of the paper, put a pen the other end and hold it tight to draw the circle. You might not even have to do that, a quarter of a turn would do it, then just fold the paper four times wit hthe center of the circle at the point.

Great video, Iv just got a circular pet bed for my Cairn X so Im going to try this. I love to spoil him, his a rescue :)

  • @PurdyBear1 Your so right, I should have included that, thanks PurdyBear1.
