But from what I heard this law was simply talking about teaching Kindergarten about sexual predators, and 'good touch' and 'bad touch'. Besides, there is nothing wrong with the truth. Kids have to learn about this stuff anyways. Another example here of Republicans taking something out of context.

It's not as black and white as that, some people just disagree on when it's right to give kids the, "Birds and the bees" speech, and how.

I know I'm like 4 years too late on this but, why are we Americans so afraid of sex? Sex education SHOULD begin in kindergarten. They should be learning boundaries, unacceptable touches, healthy relationships, etc. Far too many parents are afraid to do it so why shouldn't schools? In any other country they'd probably see this as McCain supporting his opponent.

meh I learnt about sex when I was five, I had a book called "mummy laid an egg" It was a hilarious book in which the children totally OWNED the parents in "the talk" department.

and it didn't fuck me up, I knew what a period was when I got it, I knew that I could still get pregnant EVEN if I did it standing up, I didn't lost my virginity till slightly later than average, and most importantly I have never had sex without protection.

And I still believed in fairies at 12...
