College newcomer Sid (Steven Roy Thomas) was expecting a normal freshman year until he met the girl of his dreams, Shanti (Michelle Chacko). Sid, determined to do anything to get her, seeks help from his friend Jay (Sunil Mampilly) who already has his hands full with Shanti's white roommate (Cat Mandler) who believes she is Indian. While Sid is chasing Shanti, Fresh Off the Boat immigrant Priya (Jonia Kainathara) is quickly falling for Sid. As comic mishaps ensue on Sid's quest, he begins to question who truly is his Desi Next Door. With a colorful cast, this film combines constant laughs with plenty of heart. So warm up some Chicken Tikka and meet the Desi Next Door.
