@ps1019 I second that! The assassins of her career were Jerry Masucci (Italian) and Johnny Pacheco (Domincan) They are the owners and when she and her record company, Tico were sold to Fania, she was the one left without promotion because they could manage and manipulate Celia and Lupe was not going to have it! She ripped the check they gave her as liquidation and stormed out. Lupe would've had a glorious career if they hadn't terminated her contract. Viva La Reina!

@ps1019 Yes! Jerry Masucci was the culperate behind Lupe's decline! He's the one to blame! She was on a roll until he decided not to keep her anymore. He gave her a liquidation check and she tore it up and threw it at him! Long live La Lupe!

Please, only positive comments! I will not allow La Lupe's name to be thrown around as a drug addict! She DID NOT use drugs! Is it really so hard to believe that someone can actually be truly eccentric and original? Please no drug comments! Or else be deleted! Long live the Queen! La Lupe! Drug free!
