I know NO girl who sings like this. Not a single one. You can clearly hear the deeper gravelly tone behind the singing. Just cause his vocal style uses the "whines" doesnt make him sound like a girl. And if he can hit highs and sing falsetto, that makes him a better singer, not worse. If you cant appreciatte his vocal style than dont listen to him. Just sayin.
