I remember this series having a unique taste in horror. If only From The New World could have remembered that this series was supposed to be a "Horror".

@SaikyoMog Kinda like the Evil Dead series. The first one was a real frightfest, with bits of black humor here and there. Then with the sequel, the makers decided to amp up the humor, to the point where it tended to drown out the horror part every once so often.
