My son and daughter-in-law are in the Army, deployed to Afghanistan. Their 20-month son is living with us while they are overseas. They have been there just shy of 2 months now, and have already been in harms way as the US Embassy across the road from them was bombed by insurgents. When I see our flag, I can now say that I understand the price that was and is paid for our freedom! This song brings a tear to my eyes and a chill down my spine! The flag stands for freedom. Defend it!
