  • I do not have Tamarind paste. What can one use in lieu of Tamarind paste ?

  • @irfand4 - I would suggest that you buy tamarind or tamarind paste - it has a totally different taste and the sourness from this is very different. But for the time being put in a lot of lime juice. The idea is to get that sour taste.

  • Hi...I really like the way you cook...simple yet tasty...well wanted to ask you...can you deep freeze the baingan...will it not change the taste...after how long can you use the frozen bhaingan...?Pls let me know...well how much oil have you used here???Thanks...

  • I use frozen vegetables most of the time. Usually one month should be good for most vegetables including Baigun. However, I have used frozen tomatoes for almost six months. I grow tomatoes in the season and freeze those. Worked out pretty well for most dishes.

  • Where can I buy a pressure cooker like yours?

  • You can check it out online. Or go to any major store that carries home products. Not sure where you live. In US any Macy's store or bed bath and beyond should carry one.

  • Hi Sfehmi... a few weeks ago I asked what kind of small chopper you were using and you told me it is a coffee grinder. Found one today almost like the one you were using. This will make cooking sooo much easier. Thanks so much for your help. Make more videos! You are great!
