SYLVIA ALLEN thinks we shouldn't have any environmental laws because god gave us this planet to use up 6,000 years ago. Ironically, she wants the Uranium that proved this planet is over four billion years old (Uranium-lead dating).

Arizona state Senator Sylvia Allen (R) voices support for opening up uranium mining in the state. Sen. Allen responds to statements by environmentalists by assuring them that the "Earth is 6,000 years old ..." Twice.

This is a common creationist claim: a 6,000 year old Earth contradicts science and goes by tracing the descendants of Adam and Even from the Christian Bible.

After first making her video debut on ArizonaGuardian.com, Arizona state Senator Sylvia Allen hits the bigtime: MSNBC's "Countdown" with Keith Olbermann and the big winner of "Worst Persons."
