Judibatt, I want to also add how beautiful your great dane and pug are. Their coats are super shiny, I am blinded just by watching the video. HAHA. I am sure you get a lot of comments about the way they look.

Thanks and I do. The receptionist at the vet recently was amazed at how shiny and soft they are. She was taken-back a bit when I told her what the diet was. She was pleasantly inquisitive, not judgmental.

Juddibatt, I applaud you for feeding your furkids species appropriate food. I also feed raw to my cat and my 5 lb chihuahua. You should see them at dinner time! We will let these idiots keep feeding kibbles to their pets, we won't be the ones sitting at the vets office. Contrary to the belief that dogs become aggressive when fed raw. In fact, they become more trainable, less hyperactive, and much pleasant to be around with. The reason is, they are well balanced inside and out.

YES, much more mentally stable. People mention that all of the time on their own without even knowing what they eat. I only have to stop by the vet to weigh my Dane girl to keep track of how she is growing. My vet always looks worried but admits they are doing fantastic, no issues. She is is new to this type of feeding.

watch this my newest video that is titled Rouga and Elsie 4/17/11. I just made it the other day and you will see that I now have 2 raw fed Great Danes and they are romping around with my living, pet pygmy goat pets. Yes, they have been together for a year now and all is good!

I have a pitbull terrier and i feed him chicken and other animals. I also raise chickens as well and my dog and chickens roam free in my yard just minding their own business. He never chases or attacks them even if he is hungry for more chicken.

To Ms, JudiBatt... Your dogs look GREAT! I'm sure you get accused with putting baby oil or something on their fur :P It's nice to see healthy happy dogs, and though I'm sure it's annoying at the vets office sometimes think of how much easier it will be for the next person at the vets office with a raw dog, after your vet sees how well your dogs thrive on it.

@LionessCub1 There is no threat. I have had to shoot 1 dog and several feral cats already this year becouse of them attacking livestock... I believe this method of feeding is just throwing gas on the fire. But do what ever you want as long as your animals leave my animals alone everything will be alright

@dsarti1 A dogs temperment, and likelyhood of attacking an animal does not change by simply feeding it raw. It would be one thing if she was training them to attack a live animal she's not. Dogs are smart enough to know the difference. And even if a dog is naturally a hunter, as some breeds are more prone to want to hunt, This can easily be controlled by obedience training. There is no need to go around Threatening people and their dogs just because they are eating what they are supposed to.

how'd your dane end up doing on this diet as she grew up? The protein wasnt too high?
