  • Love it! Plan to make one this weekend. Thank you!

  • @rody1202 Awesome! Take pics and tweet them to me or tag me on Facebook so I can see :-)

  • Brilliant idea!

But more than the reader falling out, I would be worried about it getting stuck, or at least that it would take some coaxing. So I thought I might put a ribbon in the hole before putting the kindle in so that I have something to jank it out with...if done well it might just look like a bookmark. Have you had issues getting the reader back out?

  • @stuckintherut Actually, in the WonderHowTo tutorial, the instructor does exactly that - glues a ribbon into the middle seam of the book and lets it lay behind the Kindle for easy removal. I found that because of the size of the hole, I don't have any problem having my Kindle stay in the book when I want it to, or pop out easily when I need it to (I usually just turn it upside down!). A great suggestion thought - and a ribbon would be another way to personalize it!

  • I'm seriously considering buying a nook or a kindle. I can't make up my mind. How do you like your kindle? Will you make up my mind for me and tell me which one to buy? Kthanx.

  • @liliedaisy Oh dear, I can't imagine telling you which to buy - but I can tell you that I'm totally in love with my Kindle - it isn't even the latest generation and I wouldn't trade it for anything ever. I would highly encourage you to get one especially because they're on sale right now! But I mean, you could try out the Nook at any B&N to see how you like it too - my best friend has one of those and says she loves it. I can't imagine anything but my Kindle, though. It is my love.

  • This is just what I wanted to do ,so I search youtube to find good how to and what to/not to do guides. Thank you for this. Although it did feel kinda wrong to cut up the book once I bought it even at 30p from a charity shop, I'm now looking for a cheap journal that I can cut up with no guilty twinges.

  • You are so funny and cute. I was looking to make a cover for the Nook Tablet I got for Christmas. I didn't want to buy one because I am crafty and wanted to make my own. Thanks for the information!

  • @timhuey64 HAHAHA what did she doo????

  • June! You are saving me tons of money ALSO while being extremely creative!! I recently helped my aunt download books on her E-reader and she wants a cover for it. What an amazing surprise for her since she was so reluctant to switching to an electronic book. She misses her hardcovers and paperbacks!!
