The very first german shepherd dog bred and registered was sable, even though the black and tan are what most people think of when they hear german shepherd, it should really be the other way around.

@ajaymcbob Another good breeder to buy them from is Alpine K9, google Alpine K9 and ask for Hans, he has Czech bloodline German Shepherds that are black sables and very good dogs as well
