@ch692115 Thanks for the reply. I was using an extension so the camera would face the right way (hanging down from dash). Yesterday I put one of the adhesive mounts inside the dash next to the rearview mirror (so it would be at the middle) and it worked very very well. Did a track day today with it- will post on Youtube once I get a chance to edit.

The roads around your house look very smooth... Have you taken it out onto rougher pavement? I just did my first suction cup mount test today and have a lot of issues with vibration.

@aroundtheworls haven't tried any offroading but have with mountain biking and there certainly is some rattle which gets worse if i add any extensions to the mounts. i bet if you were willing to use one of the adhesive mounts to your car, there would be less vibration since there is less parts to vibrate around
