sick of seeing large people on horses. No matter what kind of size or weight carrier the horse is, going faster than a walk will cause repeated strain if you're overweight. people like this are damaging the horse's health and if they really cared enough, they might try and lose a bit. might find it easier to ride that way too!

Hey, you did good. I am a heavier rider aswell, i own a 15.3hh TB check out my video's, is it ok to say anything? just that your feet might have been a little to far in the stirrups, if you were to have fallen, your feet wouldnt have come out, im not sure if thats how you ride western but to me if your wearing joggers and your feet in that far and you fall off, then your feet wont come out.
I do realize that I am a very heavy rider. However I got approval from my vet. Asng as I don't ride her hard or for a long time it would be almost like riding with two riders. I am working on my weight and I don't ride her anymore. I have a big 16hh stout 15 year old Palomino gelding that I ride now. However since I fell three years ago and hurt my back, I have not been released to ride again yet. You do know that you don't have to be so mean with what you said. You could be a little nicer.

Thank you for your comment and noticing my feet. I didn't realize at first how far in they were, I did correct before I went to get off, or should I say fall off. I swung my right foot over took my left out of the stirrup instead of stopping at the ground I just kept on going feet, butt head. Good thing Chloe is a good horse that could have been a catastrophe. She is a good horse but was a barrel horse and I am trying to break her of feeling like she has to "go" as soon as you say ok.
