OK, I wasn't going to do this because I didn't want everyone in the world to see my body on the net, but I can't get a link to go any other way. This is me riding Chloe for the very first time. I kept a little tighter rein than normal because the wind was gusting to 50 and she was a little squirrely about it. But all in all we did real well for our first ride. I even found a her spot for side stepping and she did it twice for me. She is such a good girl. Dismount was not as good, we won't talk about that, just that she was a lady and stood very still while I dismounted not so graciously. Now, I am OK with getting the first time, next time I am using a mattress to dismount on. I hope you enjoy the video

  • I do realize that I am a very heavy rider. However I got approval from my vet. Asng as I don't ride her hard or for a long time it would be almost like riding with two riders. I am working on my weight and I don't ride her anymore. I have a big 16hh stout 15 year old Palomino gelding that I ride now. However since I fell three years ago and hurt my back, I have not been released to ride again yet. You do know that you don't have to be so mean with what you said. You could be a little nicer.

  • Thank you for your comment and noticing my feet. I didn't realize at first how far in they were, I did correct before I went to get off, or should I say fall off. I swung my right foot over took my left out of the stirrup instead of stopping at the ground I just kept on going feet, butt head. Good thing Chloe is a good horse that could have been a catastrophe. She is a good horse but was a barrel horse and I am trying to break her of feeling like she has to "go" as soon as you say ok.

  • sick of seeing large people on horses. No matter what kind of size or weight carrier the horse is, going faster than a walk will cause repeated strain if you're overweight. people like this are damaging the horse's health and if they really cared enough, they might try and lose a bit. might find it easier to ride that way too!

  • HEY MAN, A HORSE CAN SUPPORT 20% OF IS POUND! . i don't judge anybody, but you can hurt her !!!!!!! . poor horse ... get a bigger one, for his or her healty .

  • Hey i enjoyed this very much!! You did a great job!!! Keep it up

  • poor horse , heavy rider

  • poor horse , u r too heavy for the horse

  • Hey, you did good. I am a heavier rider aswell, i own a 15.3hh TB check out my video's, is it ok to say anything? just that your feet might have been a little to far in the stirrups, if you were to have fallen, your feet wouldnt have come out, im not sure if thats how you ride western but to me if your wearing joggers and your feet in that far and you fall off, then your feet wont come out.
