@squizz222 The only thing it's got in common with Tengwar is the fact that it's a syllabic alphabet. However, Tengwar is featural on top of that, which my script isn't. Also, where do you get the Arabic influence? There's no differentiation of characters according to position in a word, neither is it a cursive, although the sample shown in the video (which BTW doesn't reflect the recording @ceniboy used!) is handwritten.

This is really cool. It has a very interesting, almost Arabic-like, look to it. Wow... I am in the early stages of making a conlang myself and find that I'm stuck on forming a new, unique, 40 letter alphabet. Any advice?

Gorgeous-looking script. Indeed has hints of Indic abugidas and Tengwar. Do I also detect some Arabic influence?

письменность на Тенгвар похожа

@DrKillaser Thanks. Well, most inspiration came from Southern-Asian-style abugidas (look up the term on Wikipedia, Youtube doesn't permit making links in comments). "Elvish" (Tengwar, as it's called in Tolkien) also fits into this category with one leg.

@ChrPistorius Cool writing system... looks kinda "elvish"... :)

@Herrsharp idk about that. to be honest sounds like a Japanese Sindarin to me... haha. it needs more consonant clusters for Khmer ^_^

Hi, I'm the creator of Ayeri and I was just notified by a friend you put this up here. While it's nice to see that people like my stuff and while it's clear to me that things one puts online are likely to end up elsewhere sooner or later, you could've easily dropped me a line, or at lease given credit. I'm not gonna have this removed, but please at least state your source.

It sounds like the Khmer of Cambodia.
