Fire extinguisher discharge of a 2kg CO2 extinguisher, Enjoy. This extinguisher was full before filming started, Be sure to watch my other extinguisher clips. This clip is in HD
@MF9200: Perhaps banned was too strong a word. I should have said obsolete. Since at 10 years of age a co2 extinguisher should be stretch tested, which has to be paid for by the customer, but as you can now get brand new red 2kg co2 extinguishers for less than £30 its cheaper to buy a new extinguisher than to go through all the hassle of testing it.
Truth is, not everyone has a service contract, so they just leave them "as is"
@bluecylinder They arnt banned.... just stopped prouduction and changed to red.... if its still serviceable and parts are still remaining, engineers will keep it in place... the only reason they wont is; plastic headcaps, obselete parts and charges, continuous discharge, Halon/BCF or Damage/rust

@FireControl9000: Almost correct. Non red fire extinguishers in ALL PLACES were banned some 15 years ago (1997)

Good Video. that extinguisher lasted a long time, nothing like the modern day extinguishers you find these days.
