I love how nobody even cracks a grin at that. That's how integrated the game is in Korean culture.

All that matters is a translation that provides the jist of what is being said. Worrying about minor errors in a translation that change the meaning by only a bit is foolish.

Adjutant: Nuclear Launch Detected
Obama: Yes We Can

In Ukraine or Sweden it should be like this:
Defense minister: Our soldiers can't destroy the enemy from such a big distance, we need more expensive weapon.
Economics' minister: Let them just train more.
Defense minister: This isn't Counter-Strike. Efectiveness of their shoot depends not only on their skills but also on a quality of a weapon, so give us smoe money.
:DDD

The scary part is not that he know about Starcraft... its that everyone in the room know what he's talking about.

YOU WILL MISS YOUR EE-HAN TIMING
(search it for the BW newbies)
MP Kim Hak-Song: Isn't it common sense to not wait until after the other attack has finished before starting your counterattack?
Defense Minister: When you're thinking of StarCraft strategy, what you are saying applies. But in a real situation where bombs are everywhere and people are trying to avoid them, reattacking at the same time is not ideal.

@yelyos Thank you very much for the translation :) I'll try to add it as captions when I have a spare moment.

@infinummjb This translation is wrong btw... MP was saying WHY did the counter attack NOT happen immediately after they fired on the island?
And the Defense minister says that unlike starcraft people are actually trying to dodge bombs and run away from it, which is why counter attack did not happen simultaneously

@kpark115 Can you provide me with a better translation?

@kpark115 Your translation, along with yelyos original are both inaccurate. There are no references to 'dodging' or 'avoiding' bombs in Minister Kim Tae Young's remark. He said "in a situation where damage is being done here and there".
