@sableghost Yes, EA managed it. However, Origins developed it. The original team that made UO departed after Origins broke apart and most of them never came back. That is what people are referring to.

Nowadays however, EA manages and develops all content for it.

@bennu63 Another myth. Again I reiterate, EA acquired Origin and has managed it the whole time. This is why Lord British departed, because he no longer had the control he once did and didn't like what they wanted to do with it.

@sableghost there is a difference between EA developing UO and EA publishing UO.

The game got ruined when EA began to develop UO and added content that was unnecessary.

@davidcarterdavidcart Personally I always remembered this music playing while I was *failing* to escape a scary situation because I would run out of stamina with low health. Added a nice touch of irony (not that I appreciated this while dying).

@THISSONGISBULSHIT Most people aren't aware of this but EA has always owned Ultima Online. They acquired Origin systems before UO was ever released.
