  • petter is probably the driver with the most advanced and detailed pace notes in the entire WRC. it´s truly impressing to hear all the info ha has in the notes, and it takes a extremly skilled co-driver to read the notes at the speed the WRC drivers have.

  • I'd like to hear this guy do a rap.

  • OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!

  • I think it's impressive that Patterson (if I remember right it's already Patterson and not Phil Mills) can read those detailed pacenotes at that speed and throw in a couple compliments for example when he did that chicane and that keep left over crest tightens into don't cut 6 half long tightens right he still managed to deliver the information and throw in a compliment while reading the next note for the next corner.

  • somebody should auto-tune this

  • @sirnicolai perfect answer :)

  • i didnt even know you could do this in rally at 1:56

  • @zextreme47

i thought he is rapping :)

  • the irish are the best co-drivers. (besides Phil Mills)

  • If chris patterson ever gets fired, I bet he'd get a job as an auctioneer in seconds.

  • @barsorrro I do realize that the calls' positioning makes it possible for Petter to filter them according to importance, but--it's still a distraction. And I wonder if it pays off.

  • @sirnicolai Yes, I understand. Also--the reality itself proves that Petter deals with it quite fine :) I only wonder if he wouldn't be an even faster driver, if his notes were simpler. Alternatively, I'm wondering if a driver who is still at the beginning of his/her career would do better trying to learn an info-rich system as this, or going for a simpler one.
