Have to agree with other posters - Metamatic was a truly inspired album with barren, dystopian landscapes and was more minimalist (check out 'Metal Beat' and '030') than 'The Pleasure Principle'. If you 'get it' Mr Leigh has left a wonderful legacy (Europe After The Rain is one of my all-time favourites).

The sad distancing from the Metamatic style....

Love this song!

he's a way better than Numan. I love John's voice.

A Numan & Foxx collaboration would be fantastic- 2 super brains of the Synthesiser working together.
-
definately bringing both their ideas and sounds together would be fascinating

This was a little too upbeat and optimistic for me, lost his dark edge...in my humble opinion...
John Foxx was the first but Gary Numan made it mainstream, to bad for John, he was still the master. This song sounds like it could have been on the Pleasure Principle album, has alot of notes like conversations don't you think? I would love to see Numan and Foxx do an colaboration together, that would be a milestone in technopop music.

Dennis Leigh was and is the nexxus of the electronica music of the 1980s. Un-rewarded genius, squared. Inspiration cubed!
