a bad workman blames his tools.....

but the equipment will not take to much abuse as the fader will let go and so will the needles.......I wouldnt say that the decks are that bad as I have had a go on some of them and found them ok....

In my mobile unit I use the VMX-1000 with the Numark DDS (or D2 director as previously known in early generations) on lines 1 & 2, the American DJ 500 CD players, on lines 3 & 4, and my laptop with Traktor pro on line 5 and I have never had an issue plus I love the simplicity of the VMX-1000's interface. I also use a pair of Mackie HD 1531's which can fill any room or an arena (LF is about 650-700W RMS and 1800W peak)

I've just got myself the vmx1000, just getting into djing, can you tel me what amp I'll need to run audio through it? I've got GEmini's SA600, 600w speakers do I need an amp? any recommendations?
