The last 10 minutes of the 24 Hours of LeMons at Nelson Ledges. Car is a 1990 Mazda Protege LX. We finished mid pack out of the 120+ cars but not without some problems. About 5 hours in, we got hit hard by team #888 and their Civic. We came in with a bashed front lower control arm and with no spares in the shops, junkyards closed, no spares to be found in the paddock we looked to be finished.
But team Dead Bull came through with a torch and some TLC and we straightened it out as close as we could. After 4 hours of the car sidelined we were back on the track to finish up.

Wow a Protege! You were passing everyone and no one passed you. What did you do to the car. I can see from the dash you put it on a diet but what else?

Shoot, I missed it! I live reletively close, too. That looked like fun. Good footage and an interesting variety of cars out there. I liked your "race" with the tow truck. Over twenty years ago at the Longest Day of Nelson 24 hour showroom stock race, the tow trucks were so busy that they would've finished like 30th and 35th...out of 45 starters.
