@DoRu42 Use a sealer that most RV shops sell, it is called ProFlex...It comes in a caulk tube......ProFlex works best on the sides of RV's...You must remember to leave a drip hole at the bottom of what you are sealing to allow water out if it does get in.......All outside doors and lights should have a grey sealing tape behind them..It is like a tape in putty form....
it's been tough finding any information on resealing RV or Travel Trailer exterior lights and around things like water heater frame and access doors. One guy told me to use plumbers putty but I can't believe that is anything but a hack.

good stuff on what to look for but,
