this is NOT my recipe. I got this years ago from a co-worker.

Coffee House Fudge:

3 cups chocolate chips
1-14 oz can sweetened condensed milk(NOT evaporated milk)
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. strong coffee
1 tsp cinnamon-maybe less if using a stronger quality like cassia

combine in 3 qt saucepan and heat over medium low just until all chips are melted. Immediately pour into 8x8 prepared pan. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. cut into squares and enjoy!

this is very versatile. you can experiment with what you like subbing out coffee for liquors, adding nuts, toasted coconut, or changing the type of chips.

enjoy!

  • I luv the choc marshmellow fluff fudge...make that all the time...but this sounds interesting. Thanks

  • I like the fact that the marshmallow fudge makes a huge batch. have you ever tried Walmart brand fluff? I think it is their great value brand. very inexpensive and has a really great taste to it; you can taste a little more vanilla than some others.

  • I made this fudge and it's a winner. I love it!!

  • oh I am so glad you like it! I can't believe it produces such good results for something so simple. thanks for the feedback.

  • That looks so easy. I think i may make some for my neighbors for the holidays. By the way, I love Penzey's too.

  • ooh, I wish I had a Penzey's store in my town; I'd go crazy. I love just perusing the catalogs too. they have very good cinnamons and vanilla extract. let me know how it turns out if you decide to make it and thanks for watching.
