Whats up with these consoles nowadays Xbox360 rrod Ps3 Yellow light Wii dvd drive problems. We just want to play games and not end up repairing our consoles

You should rename this video to, "How to remove and reattach the rubber rings on a Nintendo Wii DVD Drive," as you didn't replace a DVD drive at all.

@legolink67 You can't do that with any game that goes online (Mario Kart, WAW, Reflex, Black Ops, MW3, etc.). Only have the "delete" option on those games, no "copy" or "move". I found a place that can fix it for $40, but thanks for replying.

@madmaxdaddy just put the save files from the old wii on an sd card and then insert the card into the old wii and put the save files on the new wii

Is the game save data located on the dvd drive replacement? What I'm wondering is if I install a new dvd drive will I lose all my save data? I have another wii that works and I'm thinking of taking the drive off it to fix my old one because I want my old game saves back. Will this work? Please help :(

@Virtual1Guy You do realize this is a tutorial for people whose drive went bad. It has nothing to do with hacking and all to do with playing disc games again. Also you are the one spamming by advertising irrelevant sites in a video about replacing a broken wii drive.

@Virtual1Guy You do realize that this is a very helpful video for people who need to replace their wii DVD drives since the drive does malfunction sometimes. There has never been a wii "crack" that involves replacing the DVD drive.

basically i want to take my 1st run wii that has a broken dvd drive and replace the dvd drive wih a new dvd drive ,but put my old broken drives controller board on the new dvd drive befor i put it in my old wii,so when i mod my old wii it will play burned discs,like gc games nd dvd's ,id rather mod the old wii cause i can install bootmi as boot 2 instead of an ios and i wont need a game to softmod it,then i might get a wode for the other one,
