  • Do you have any advice for someone who gets nauseated easily, especially when trying to drink green smoothies? I've tried the first three smoothie recipes from the raw family website (the Boutenko's site) but I get nauseated and sometimes throw up before I'm done. I love the way the smoothies help me feel more healthy, and I'm not allergic to anything that I put in them, so I'm wondering if you had any advice about this?

  • @sacricolist

i would try to start with very little greens at first. and maybe use a very mild green, like spinach and work your way up to stronger greens like kale, etc. so just a few leaves of spinach (maybe even just one!) and then increase slowly over time. see how that goes. good luck!

  • Thank you for the information!!

  • @rosuabsc you're very welcome!

  • what blender would you recommend to make a smoothie? i dont have a smoothie blender but i do have the NINJA blender that was sold on TV

  • everyone should read Dr. Douglas Graham's book, The 80/10/10 diet!!

  • Thank you for this. I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Falun Dafa is a cultivation system in the Buddha School based on the principles of the Universe:

    真 Truthfulness

    善 Compassion

    忍 Forbearance.

Since 1999 it has been brutally persecuted by the CCP in China.

  • Love the Green Revolution! Your books go along with my healthy Round eating book, and there is abundant room for all of us!

  • @911hasNOplanes are you sure of that because there are so many health food places its not funny.. even in school they teach eating sweets all day is not healthy even if you are skinny..so i really think you just made that up to feel better.

  • I think her book is revolutionary, but i think she needs to work on her weight which is important part of Presentation. People want to see the teacher "walk their talk". She has gained weight and not looking fit. people are starting to talk and will turn people away from the subject. Does she have endocrine or metabolic issues? eating too much sweet fruit? i only found 1 short interview with her and she mentioned eating too many nuts and eating too late at night, i think there is more

  • @TheSonicchick, not sure if you are aware of this or not but stone fruits ie, peaches, cherries, plums etc. have a low glycemic index.

    Much love,

    Lockness

  • @liquidbutta18 , Pregnant women most definitely can drink green smoothies. The nutrition benefits are outstanding and your baby will greatly appreciate it. :)
