Tales of Rebirth Veigue Side Part 98 (Battle)

I guess this is a spoiler, but I think the game has made it fairly obvious that this was coming. Anyway, just thought I'd put this up while I'm translating the rest of it. This is actually a different fight from the one that's gonna appear in the storyline segment, so it's basically to distract you guys. ^^ The footage is raw, BTW, but I doubt anyone is going to have any trouble figuring out what Veigue's saying at least. O_o

The battle rank is Mania and I don't have any Irregular Awakenings equipped (although I have one Morphic Irregular on Tytree...I needed Flash badly O_o).
For those of you who primarily use Veigue (*raises hand*), this fight is painful. Having purchased Double Damage and Double FG Recovery from the Grade shop really didn't help matters either. -_- In any case, have fun watching Veigue hand me my ass on a silver platter. *cough*

Was this done on the PSP version? I know you said you were gonna do everything on the PSP version so I was wondering if this was it.

But yeah, Tigura's right, this is the PS2 version of the game. There are a couple of reasons, but the main one as to why I'll be sticking with the PS2 version for filming the storyline is that I can get much better video quality from recording off my PS2 than I can with my PSP. I may do a tutorial using the PSP version, but that would probably be it.

You managed pretty well using Annie. It's difficult to trust the AI of the damage dealers to actually do that and not get killed in the process. Especially on Mania.

Looking forward to the next story-part. The lead-up to this looks exciting.

Yeah, I typically leave Annie to the game's AI, but she was the most important person in my party for this fight (for healing/reviving and for triggering Shouha Rekkousen), so I didn't want to take any risks. Plus the computer is much better at tanking than I am. ^^

Me too. The only Hi-Ougi I can ONLY trigger is Celsius Caliber most of the time on Cyglorg's Chambers ;_;

Hey, you're not the only one who plays Tales on a higher difficulty and no, you DO NOT suck at the others. I found it more fun and sometimes give me motivation to play it again :D
