@michaelfivez Actually yes! Vegetarians are A LOT healthier than meat eaters. If you do a little research you will find there are many diseases people get from eating meat that come from steriods they give the animals. Also, vegetarians are 1/3 less prone to obesity since meat has so much fat compared to a vegetarian diet.
@clergame One can not just know their place in the universe. The ability to figure it out would be sentience. To have a defined place for you without your decision means there would be no free will. And how would one know where their place would be without pondering and deciding? They'd have to be omniscient.
@clergame Just like an arrogant, ignorant, selfish exploiter: watch a raped tortured being writhe and scream in pain and say, "Yeah, we are doing it a favor." Watch Earthlings, when you are ready for the truth as to where your "food" comes from and what you do to get it: watch?v=FHA4HNbmDLg

I was wondering are there reasons to become vegetarian if you don't care about animal suffering?

Animals are stupid compared to us, how can you say that's not true?
If an adult was as smart as an animal wouldn't he be considered stupid?

@gocrazy432
omniscience means you know everything. Knowing your place in the universe is sentience

@clergame The first part is right. Knowing your place however is not sentience it is omniscience. Being able to figure it out would be sentience.

@gocrazy432
It means to know that you are self aware and you know your place in the universe

@clergame What does sentient mean? What do you think it means?

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight with you, then you win.
