How to Hacktivate iOS5 beta, any device!

This technique enables 100% full activation of the iOS 5 Beta from apple. This works on the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch. Itunes syncing is enabled as is multitasking - this is essentially a full unlock and a cell signal!.Without UDID - ofcourse :)

Unfortunately I cannot provide the firmwares but they can be easily found on google.

Jailbreak your device. Install ifile from cydia, its free. Launch iFile and go into System/Library/Core Services. Scroll down to the bottom and open SystemVersion.plist in property list viewer. Hit edit down the bottom right and delete the bottom line that says beta. Reboot your device, woot!

If your .ipsw isn't being recognized, it means you downloaded the redsn0w from his link and it is not the latest redsn0w release. Google the latest redsn0w release "0.9.8b7b" and it will recognize iOS 5 Beta 7. I had this same problem until I finally thought to check what version of redsn0w I had. It works 100%, I've been using my phone to make calls and texts etc. Everything works.

unfortunately I also screwed up my iphone Sleep" button... so I don't know how else to do that process where you're supposed to hold down the button and blah blah blah :/ aghhh!
