Brass In Pocket [Rock Band 2] 100% Expert Vocals

100% Gold Star Expert Vocals performance on Brass In Pocket as made famous by The Pretenders (cover), as it appears in Rock Band 2 for PlayStation 3.

As is customary with my videos, the original vocal track is turned down so you can hear what I'm singing. (note that as a cover, this track does not feature Chrissy Hines, the lead singer of The Pretenders)

This isn't really a terribly difficult song, but there's some major stylistic differences between this cover version and the original song. Not that the cover in Rock Band 1 & 2 is bad - it's actually quite good - it's just missing some of the spirit of the original. I tried to bring as much of the original vocal style in as I dared - the original performance has a lot more "bent" notes and pitches, so you'll see and hear me actually pitchsliding up and down some of the "horizontal" pitchline phrases like "gonna use my arms, gonna use my legs".
