@kalev76 Even without the Ring, I still don't think Frodo had that much a look over Sam... but Sam protected him all the time. Ahahahah they're a lovely gay couple! :'3

@narcolepticFFFFUUUUU Yes Frodo cared as much of Sam as Sam did of Frodo - just most of the time Frodo was under influence of the ring which messed with his mind.
But srsly, Sam came off bit of a gay in some situations.... Maybe Frodo was a bit offended (this last bit was just trollin'... But srsly... he did... :P)

@chaosfighter100 no, becurse the ring is just something saurn owns, like a phone: you love it, but it's not a real friend :)

I think it's possible that Gimili's mistrust and resentment towards Legolas (in both film and book) might be strong, even for a Dwarf, because Legolas's father, King Thranduil imprisoned Gimili's father, Gloin (The Hobbit). It's personal!
I might be reading too much into it, but I can't help convincing myself that it's all real history and not just a story.

actually the biggest friendship was between gollum and smeagol.
Gimli: Never thought I'd die fighting side by side with an elf.
Legolas: What about side by side with a friend?
Gimli: Aye, I could do that.
Probably my favorite quote in the movie

@168chanism, I don't think so. Frodo doesn't take care of Sam like Sam does with him.
Anyway, Gimli and Legolas share a true friendship. Also Gandalf and Aragorn. Also, how lovely, Merry and Pippin.
(Sorry for my english, if I said something wrong)
