To be honest, i'd rather they kill off Dexter's sister instead of rita, rita was such a great character. Easily in my top 3 of favorite characters on the show.

By killing of deborah instead, they would have had a plot twist like they wanted, they would have removed an incredibly annoying character from the show, and it would have made the most sense because the trinity killer lost his sister by bleeding out in the bathtub, why couldn't it be dexters sister?

@trema12345 Fanboy? I just watched the series for the first time these past few months, after reading the books. Really it is far from my favorite series on television, I like it a lot ... but I am more of a Sci-Fi person. Opinions are varied on these things and all are entitled, but I take exception to your hate speech. It's inappropriate and makes you sound crazy. "If I don't like X person they should DIE!" It's whacked out man, and crosses the line.

You need psychological help before you become discontent venting your rage on the net and decide to hurt an innocent out in the real world. The actress was portraying a woman who had been abused by a thoughtless drug addict - the fact that you feel harmful rage towards her is an insight into your soul.
