  • Yep, I've tried Fred Stuart and Lindy Fralins and they are both great pups. We have also used Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs which are also great. However, for this particualr guitar, we needed a less refined, more raw sound so, we used the Toneriders which did the job. Thanks for writing, jim

  • have you ever played the tonerider TRT2?

  • They aren't my cup of tea, but people consistently ask for a) a hot set and b) an alnico III set - so they were born!

    I much prefer the Vintage TRT1 set which have a more open sound and are much clearer.
