The more people say we don't need to talk about gay, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, etc. getting picked on, harassed, bullied, or even killed will just let kids think that it is perfectly fine to do so.

I'm in high school, I'm gay, I was and still am being bullied, I brought it to the principals attention, he didn't do shit. Kids still make terrible jokes and make fun of lgbt kids and I'm getting sick of it. This needs to stop now.

P.S. This goes with any type of bullying.

@gothicblood1996 It's terrible what people go thru in school. I was picked on in school for being a geek-girl and not conforming to the female stereotype. Many classmates called me "gay" even tho I'm not. I can't imagine how it must be if you ARE gay :(

@PPartisan So we should all just lay down and be a doormat for a bully until the police find the time to show up? A police force is designed to maintain law and order - to resolve escalated altercations between citizens, not to monitor every single dispute between every single person at every single time of the day or night - that's ridiculous. In this case, schoolyard bullies are cowards - they usually pick their victim because that victim is in fact a doormat who will cower to them.

Candi only spoke about the Parents. "Parents are calling and saying this..", "We have a list of parents who want this...", yet she says it isn't about agendas? How could it NOT be about agendas when the actual victims aren't heard, and instead it's adults who ignore the children but still feel they can represent them.

focus on the family is evil, i know first hand that they are because i was in love won out and i left, God still changed me, but if i would have stayed involved with focus on the family i would have went completly nuts, they are still blaming the sexual revolution of the 60's & 70"s and the media for the homosexual problem, WELL WE ALL KNOW THAT IS CRAP

I was occasionally bullied throughout my education career, sometimes for nearly an entire school year by the same group of thugs... somehow the thought of killing myself never crossed my mind... but then again, I actually had a father who taught me to stand up to bullies - and when I finally did, they left me alone. Stick up for yourself, life is tough, and if you can't handle a bully as a kid, it isn't going to "get better" when you become an adult. School is your training ground.
