Floppy Drive Motor Hack

It took me a while to figure out the wiring to bypass the signals to make it run on its own, then tricking the controller by raising the disk up with stuff so that it can't read its own rpm's therefore making it run at its max potential. The controller can handle upto 7v before getting hot and normal is 5v.

The Fan is to load test it so I can see how much torque it can output. When its reading a floppy disk it only spins at 33rpm and even with 7v it runs at the same rpm. So after this "hacking" it, spins around 10k rpm (guessing).

@vvExodusvv you are a idiot thinking a lcd/crt monitor will blind you. A light bulb is 5x brighter than a lcd/crt monitor can put out at full power.

You've made a floppy drive motor rotate faster than it did originally, but there's no free energy. You've essentially made a transformer (not a robot in disguise) which is fine, but fairly futile, as you could have just made a transformer. If you do think there's such a thing as free energy, go ahead and power a battery charger to charge the batteries you're using to power the motor. If the motor stops, I win. :)

@dpgrenfree have you read the paused part of the video?? I said the generator is a DYNO aka LOAD TESTER. I didnt mention anything about free energy or powering a led with the battery.

@30GB you are right and the LCD actually has full brightness when displaying white, so this video cannot be brighter than a normal window backgroung (or the background of youtube).
