  • All soldiers fight for money in first pretence

Fact remains the Grukas choose to fight of Britain while they do it, that counts for alot,

I'd rather have a Gurka and his family in Britain than any islamic radical who would try and behead me if they could get away with it

  • The shame of a country - how can we say no to these men?

Revoke my passport - I don't feel British enough if these fine respectful men don't get it.

  • When will this sad post-menopausal botoxed creature Lumley comprehend Britain should NOT act as a dump for every third world refugee charity case. These people are in fact paid a pension that gives them a good standard of living in their own country. These so called “celebrities” such as Lumley and Redgrave should stick to acting not prostitute themselves through the media to force their extreme unelected left wing views regarding third world parasites on the British taxpayer

  • well done Lumley, 12,000 expected this year. Landing off a plane with nothing but 2 suitcases and the British taxpayer footing the bill. Was in the news an hour ago saying we can't cope with the flood of them.

They just laid off workers all over the country and I've mates who don't even have a roof over their heads.

Well done Lumley but of course it dosen't affect you does it.

  • Well done Joanna Lumley - she has shown the politicians who's boss and that the Gurkhas have every right to be in this country.

I, too, would love to have Joanna as my Prime Minister.

  • AYO GORKHALI.

We Sikhs Salute you Gurkha soldiers.. we've stood shoulder to shoulder on many a battlefield.

Better to die than to live the life of a coward.

  • Nepal was 3 times the present size. But the fcuking British change the map of Nepal.

British government gave the Independence to India but never gave back Nepal's territory when it left India for good.

But the British government still have the authority to tell the India that it should hand back the Nepal's territory to Nepalese but i guess British does not have the guts and balls to ever do that now.

  • in my opinion i belive they shud have a place for the simple fact they though for QUEEN AND COUNTRY and for the british EMPIRE they have done more then enough to deserve a tiny spot in teh UK would you no say ?

  • dude they fought n died for this country..wt hav u done other than getting born here?

  • Well they got it now. But why would you think they wouldn't have a right where any other regiment or any one working in the UK for five years work permit can settle then why not them. Its bloody simple.

  • Well done Joanna

    The Gurkhas are prepared to lay their lives down for Her Makesty, Her subjects and Her Protectorate;

Brown has no more right to stay in Britain than they do; he is an enemy of Her Majesty; he prefers to patronise Islamists

and make us fools pay for their huge multi-wived families settling here.

Well done Joanna I would love you to be my Prime Minister; you've got heart and thanks to the following of good-hearted Britons, the Ghurkas have at last got the reward they deserve.
