Reel Life at Farm Sanctuary Series
Episode Five: Love on the Farm

On episode five of our Sanctuary Tails blog video series, Reel Life at Farm Sanctuary, National Shelter Director Susie Coston talks about love on the farm in honor of Valentine's Day and introduces us to some very special bonded pairs, including Bing and Bessie -- two incredible geese who have lived at Farm Sanctuary for 25 years. You'll also get to meet some of our pig, goat and chicken friends too! Watch more Reel Life here: http://farmsanctuary.typepad.com/sanctuary_tails

  • I Love this! We have to protect the sentient beings of our planet.

  • awesome

  • They fix all their rescues to avoid breeding. They want to only try and take in animals in dire need of saving :)

  • @batcountryrabid Well they are a sanctuary, so breeding animals would mean that they wouldn't be able to take in animals. I guess the rooster must be neutered or the hens sterilized. Something.

  • Question (wont be answered I'm sure): if you aren't breeding the birds why did you put the rooster with the hens? is he neutered? can you neuter roosters? O_o it would be pretty cool though if you bred some baby chicks, more animals that can grow up naturally

  • Aw all of these are such wonderful beings, who couldn't sense a level of benevolence from their little hearts?! I mean just look at that closeup of the goat at 1:21 :D. It's just heartbreaking to know what factory farming and animal use does to these babies.

  • I'm going through video withdrawal. More videos, please. <3

  • please do more!

  • Wonderful! Please keep these videos and updates coming. So love Farm Sanctuary and all the precious animal inhabitants.
