First of all, FOX is the most GOP-biased new company in existence. Not that i'm saying that there aren't any Democrat-Biased companies, its just that FOX is the worst.

The problem here is that Americans expect services like free healthcare and free schools without wanting to pay the taxes needed to support those services. Until America wakes up and understands this, no reform will ever happen.

By definition, health care is currently as close as you can get to any other socialized program.

You pay into a system regardless of your physical condition, and do not get the money back if you don't fall ill. In this case, it will pay for others treatment.

There are some differences. You aren't required to cover yourself. There is still a copay. Profits are subsidized overseas and burden taxpayers. Privatized HC caps your lifetime coverage.

But since you say that you're in a high income tax bracket, you shouldn't mind your premiums & out of pocket expenses and copays with your insurance as it is now. Why would you endorse paying even higher taxes than Reagan and foot the bill for an even bigger government? The federal government failed at Medicare so why have another federal nationalization? Face it, Obama isn't a Messiah... nor a genius... or a Doctor. His approval ratings are slipping more and more every day.

You just got to love that women. She just read them the riot-act. It's time the American people make there politicians responsible for there actions. I think it's time for "We the people of the United States of America", take our country back from the U.S. government. They never stay w/ in the budget and we get taxed more or pass the responsibility off to another generation. Thats how we got into this mess. Please register every illegial alien to pay taxes and apply for medicare or get a job or a driver's license, then track every visitor that comes into our great land and prevent terrorism and depleting our resourses by getting free health care while everyone born here has to pay for it. Why can't anyone see this in Congress, and why isn't this addressed first and foremost before health care government take over? Please help us Americans who want controlled capolitalism instead of socialism.

Trust me on this, you and I are in the same boat. We need tort reform to get law suits under control. But adding a new branch of goverment will not help us! The obama health care plan will cost everyone more! I see much bigger proublems with it. It put the goverment between you and your dr. No way we will get better care!! Good luck to you!

I am just tired of getting screwed by my insurance companies. I pay way too much and my family thank god is in good health. Like I was telling someone before, I pay extra for vision, $105 is covered per year in contacts but I pay about $400 in contacts per year, plus a yearly exam, another $100. The best insurance is NJM, they pay dividends to their policy holders. I have them for my home, gonna switch my auto to them. It is way harder to find fair health ins. especially in my state.

The GOP has convinced everyone that socialism is bad. What the GOP is usually referring to in these attacks is russian-socialism.

Obama's healthcare plan is modeled after the Norwegian countries with democratic socialism.

There is nothing wrong with that system, in fact, Norwegian countries have the one of the highest ages of death out of all other countries.
