Un poco de buena música de fondo, un simulador de vuelo y unos cuantos 747 para explicar gráficamente por qué vuelan los aviones

  • The answer?: Magic! *Snort* *Snort*

  • love the song great animations of planes, is there inside animation of all technical staff or only what is seen outside?

  • The theory of lift shown here is out of date and proved to be false.

  • as a pilot owning aircrafts for more then 20 years I know this video is BS. Its not the aerodynamics that keep the aircraft flying. It's just the bank account.. It needs tons of money!

  • Does anyone know where I can find the original lecture in this video? Thanks in advance.

  • humans are so clever man we rule!

  • I don`t think you can say that they "need this" to fly. They may need this feature to fly more effectively..less drag etc..back to basics...yadayadayada...capiche?!

  • @ILSRWY4 Yes, NASA is exactly correct because they do not say what this video (and the illustration) say, which is, " The air passing the upper surface travels a longer distance IN THE SAME TIME ". Those last four words are why everyone is commenting about this being the incorrect equal transit time theory. NASA never says, " IN THE SAME TIME " because NASA knows the equal transit time theory is incorrect. It is a subtle short few words, but that is what we are refering to.

  • @ILSRWY4 This web address quest.nasa.gov/aero/planetary/atmospheric/discover.html" isn't working.

So to get you there do this...

Go to NASA's home page at NASA.gov. In the search window type in "wings and lift" and from the search results scroll down (about the 4th result down) to topic entitled "NASA -What Is Aerodynamics? How Do an Airplane's Wings Provide Lift? The shape of a wing"

  • @StratMatt777 We all must be bored! :)

NASA web page on incorrect transit theory is not even referencing the theory above directly.

In fact NASA explains the Theory above and agrees with this video! Go to NASA's home page at NASA.gov. In the search window type in "wings and lift" and from the search results scroll down (about the 4th result down) to topic entitled "NASA -What Is Aerodynamics? How Do an Airplane's Wings Provide Lift? The shape of of a wing"
