Johnny Kapahaala moves with his family from Hawaii to Vermont and has to get used to all the changes, especially missing his grandfather, a former champion surfer called "Johnny Tsunami". Johnny has a hard time getting along with the preppy skiers at his school and instead makes friends with the local snowboarders. Johnny's athletic abilities and his "aloha" attitude prove to be an inspiration to everyone. As seen on The Disney Channel.

One of the best 90s movies ever! It's all about setting differences aside and just let people, family especially, be together. The characters are great and the showcasing of surfing and snowboarding as a subculture is fantastic!!! :)
