Swedish designer duo Altewai.Saome is busy rewriting the swedish fashion narrative with their supremely confident take on modern urban chic. A feat which is even more remarkable since they have only 3 seasons under their belt.

"Much-lauded newcomers Altewai.Samoe entered the fashion stage with a supremely confident, precision-cut third collection. Up on the runway, hard-edged techno amazons charged down the catwalk like sparkling, jewel-encrusted missiles. With a bold blend of high-tech fabrics -- think neoprene or nylon mesh -- battling for attention with opulent plastic details for sparkle and contrast, it was a real pleasure to witness such a temperamental vision of fearlessly futuristic urban chic. Despite strong references to extreme sports like base jumping or skydiving, the Altewai.Samoe collection left plenty of room for feminine touches. When asked about how their vision might translate to real customers, the label's two designers seemed entirely unfazed. "When you look at the pieces one by one, you soon realize that they are actually very wearable." After all, the minds behind Altewai.Samoe have extensive tailoring experience from Milan, evident in the collection's confident cuts and loving attention to detail and fabric. An exquisite show and, dare I say, a defining moment for Swedish fashion!"
