  • @SR20FTW "more ramp-up time in revs" thats about the dumbest things i have heard in along time. you know what causes this "ramp up time" lack of power not stroke (usually low compression with turbo motors) once your in gear the extra stroke is not keeping it from reving. if your reving the 2 motors side by side in neutral and one spins up faster. guess why. hmm power and hmm maybe the heavier flywheel weight... maybe.... its not stroke.

  • @SR20FTW Stock Motors are considered N/A you pull the turbo off and see who wins. So what if people "consider" it stock if the turbo came with it. You put each car at the same level the 240 will come out ahead. Take a N/A 240 pair it with the srt-4 go from a 20 or whatever roll (I say roll cause the srt-4 owners round here wont go from a dig) and watch that 240 start to pull until the srt's turbo kicks in. As for the "stroke" you're exaggerating the "extremely" part.

  • @TheDriftPower Foot in mouth bone head. rebuilt KA. I can bet money my SR would have taken dumps on your KA. KA makes roughly 20 more hp then an SR and about 30 more ftlbs. It also has an extreamly longer stroke then the SR, wich means more ramp-up time in the revs. I have friends with Turboed KA's as well. I've seen them on T25's, T28's GT30's. There not a bad motor, but there not Capeable stock of Beating a SRT-4 with a T25 lol. I can get a vid of a KA-t vs stock SRT-4 if you need real proof.

  • @SR20FTW Now see that is where you are wrong, I'm in the states, and I've rebuilt my KA, and it dominates SR's left and rights, right along with SRT's Don't be mad cause you don't know what you are talking about.

  • it's all in how much money is spent on the 240. the 240 is a piece of shit in the states. the only way for it to compete is to be swapped. and even ona stock boost swap it wont compete with an SRT4 lol. you need to crank boost and upgrade the turbo among other shit. be smart about it. Thats prolly bone stock or nearly bone stock srt vs a T28 or better KA/ SR swap with boost cranked. I own both cars. and the SRT would shit on my SRed 240 if i blew cash on it like i did on the 240
