Actually, I did. I bought that "thing" for $1.00 and sold it on Ebay for $15.00 to a guy who collects strange items like this one.

You just KNOW someone in China had a surplus of Santa-bots that said ho-ho-ho over and over, only to think: "Hey! We change the sound and can sell for Halloween!" Hilarious.
Worse yet... we now know someone bought at least one of them. ;-)

Ya know, you're probably right that these were "Santa Bots" converted to this "Thing". Yes, I bought this one at a yard sale and sold it on Ebay! Hey, how come you know so much about "Santa Bots"? Do they circle your tree at Christmas? Thanks for the comments. I got a good laugh out of it.
