Video of my Stirling Engine running. Built in shop class at Newberg High School - its a double stirling design, one of three built so far. Built entirely from raw materials, with fairly extensive use of a HAAS CNC for machining many components. If anyone is interested, the shop teacher sells plans for his engine designs, check out http://www.goldstirling.com

  • Forget the engine, what kind of high school has a CNC machine available to students?

  • How about cranking the size up and hooking it up to a generator to see how much power it can create
