- Continued - I personally like a balance. If i want an intricate well made film - sure something like 2001 is great. But other times? I might just want to have fun. and There is nothing wrong with that. So stop, both of you. Please. Just enjoy the damn movies, Pez you keep picking them apart to the core and Transformers you keep watching them for the enjoyment they bring. Its not one or the other.

Hey, Pezman and Transformers, who cares? They are both good movies. Pez is right, 2001 is probably the ultimate reason Moon was even able to exist (I'm an aspiring filmmakers as well) and everything he claimed about the film is true. Transformers is right too, Pez you are coming across as extremely holier than thou even if you dont mean to - people are welcome to enjoy movies for any reason they want.

Great film I can't believe it's 44 years old it's seem to be made later possibly mid 80's beautiful I'd rather watch this then star wars any day

@PezMan007 When you say it's "better", you're basically saying it's a better film, which is incredibly untrue. 2001: A Space Odyssey was the first of its kind, a work of complete originality...Exactly, you're not an aspiring filmmaker nor are you educated on the subject--you just watch what you members of the general public call "movies"; your opinion is meaningless because of the fact. You enjoyed Moon better, but that does not make Moon a better film, which it is not by fact.

@PezMan007 How am I being insensible? You think I'm the only person who didn't like 2001 as much as Moon? Regardless, 2001 is still an incredible movie and one I will watch again and again, but in my own opinion; I think Moon was better. And yes, maybe it does have something to do with when it was conceived...

@Transformers2themax Me saying a film was better than another is the same as me saying I liked a fiilm over another, it's all entirely my opinion and different to yours and others, why is that so wrong? I don't watch films to analyze camera angles, methods of communication, timelines etc, I watch films for my own personal enjoyment.

@PezMan007 That's like me comparing Freddy Mercury's singing voice to Robert Plant's because I like Pant better. But because I know that they were both incredibly talented singers, regardless if I don't enjoy listening to Queen, I still have respect for Freddy Mercury as a musician and will defend the fact...You're just an example of another biased, insensible viewer.
